Critics are raving about the Sarah Brightman tourWith Sarah Brightman tour entering its sixth US tour date so far, critics have gotten a chance to see her one of a kind show, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. The worlds most beloved soprano has dazzled both audiences and critics alike with her spectacular stage presentation. "The star of the show — Brightman’s glorious, powerful voice — was in robust form, and when strenuous spectacle subsided (such as the truly lovely rendition of Atessa), the audience was rewarded with a glimpse of painstaking craftsmanship," raved the Star-Telegram. "The former Mrs. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Phantom of the Opera star blends her classical background - and little girl belting voice - with pop-inspired instrumentation that's certainly sacrilegious to some on either side of the classical-pop spectrum," said the Metro Weekly. Sarah Brightman has once again put her heart and soul into her tour. "It's my fourth world tour, and what I try to do for my tours is create different visual scenarios for these songs that they come to hear again and again. And this time it's gorgeous, because in the past five years, technology is offering what it couldn't before. For some of the songs I've been able to create 3-D moving worlds onstage, in which I can place myself and interact. And it's been amazing for me, because a lot of my albums have been very visually themed alongside the music," she told the Miami Herald. "I do have a real passion for what I do, and I love to make it as complete as possible...It’s hard at times because my career is often a whirlwind. But I actually do feel extremely privileged with what I do because, in a way, it’s my hobby," she told the Star-Telegram. Audiences around the country are thrilled to be able to enjoy such a special performance. The Sarah Brightman Symphony Your continues its North American leg through December 21. Tonight Sarah Brightman performs in at Washington, D.C.'s Verizon Center. Go back to Sarah Brightman tickets. |
